Though PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has always had issues with cheaters, developer PUBG Corp tries its best to contain them. More than 100,000 players were issued permanent bans in January 2018 thanks to the development team recognizing a new pattern in cheat usage. That’s nothing though – by December 2017, it was reported 1.5 million players had been banned thus far. Even with a user base of over 30 million at the time, that’s a pretty hefty number.
