World of Warcraft

Blizzard is fairly well known for its ban waves in Overwatch and World of Warcraft. In October 2017, a number of players were banned in the latter for botting and using third party software that were against the terms and service. That’s nothing compared to the great purge of 2008 where 350,000 players were suspended for “third party hacks”. And unlike Overwatch, suspensions in WoW can last up to eighteen months if you’re a repeat offender.
