The developer banned nearly 6,000 players in Pokemon Sun and Moon for “altering save data” which thus prevented them from playing Global Missions or ranked online battles with their OP Pokemon. While there have been worries about altered Pokemon being traded and the person receiving such Pokemon being banned, thus far it seems the developer has handled things well.
