Resident Evil Village
Capcom’s RE Engine has proven itself to be incredibly scalable in the past few years and with Resident Evil Village, its fidelity is on full display. Lighting and shadows are on point, as always, and Village also presents some amazingly rendered snow and weather effects, to say nothing of the realistic character models. The sheer scale of the project, coupled with seamless loading and texture streaming, is ambitious but should be worth the wait. It’s currently slated this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
