Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
It’s hard to point at any one particular thing that’s impressive about Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Ray-traced reflections, which apply to materials like Clank’s head; detailed fur on Ratchet; gorgeous lighting and environmental textures; and the excellent animation tying it all together – we could go on and on. Perhaps most impressive is how the game uses the PS5’s SSD to seamlessly shift from one world to another, each brimming with vibrant detail. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart doesn’t have a release date but it’s expected sometime in the first half of 2021 for PS5.
