Yes, the Dark Seeker Saga is almost incomprehensible to all outside of the fan base. Nevertheless, Kingdom Hearts 3 is still a great action RPG, being easy to get into while having enough interesting hooks and gimmicks like Shotlock, Summons, Keyblade Transformations, Keyblade switching and more to keep a player invested. Though it starts out easy enough, the action ramps up quickly and soon you’ll go up against a number of tough bosses. It’s a trip, one that doesn’t always make sense but manages to be fun – and emotional – all throughout.
