Dragon’s Dogma 2, set in a world that’s seemingly always out to get you yet brimming with discoveries, fun emergent gameplay or just the random useful Pawn. Vocations offer multiple options during the satisfying combat and the overall structure is one that simulantoeusly embraces yet rejects open-world tropes. It’s bizarre and sometimes tedious yet involving and enjoyable all the same.
