29. Ys 9: Monstrum Nox
While Ys 10: Nordics left some mixed impressions, Ys 9: Monstrum Nox still holds up incredibly well. The vastness of the Balduq, the freedom of movement, the responsive and satisfying combat, the excellent narrative and cast – all of it comes together in an enjoyable package that’s paced well and doesn’t overstay its welcome.
