While more rogue-like, there’s no denying the action RPG elements interlaced in Supergiant Games’ brilliant sequel. The build-crafting with more options and ever; the building of bonds with its extensive cast; the weapon variety which morphs and changes based on Boons; and of course, the fast-paced combat which stands out from the rest. The fact that Hades 2 is this good and still not fully done is slightly scary (in a good way, of course).
