Grinding Gear Games’ sequel to its acclaimed free-to-play RPG is currently in early access and not quite there in terms of everything fans want. There’s no denying everything feels good, though, whether it’s the classes, the sheer fluidity of the combat, the multitudes of skills (which are easier than ever to experiment with), or the insane variety of boss fights. Whenever it exits early access, it could very well set a new benchmark for the genre. Right now, however, it’s an action RPG looter that’s worth investing in.
