Alone in the Dark
The number of botched sequels that Alone in the Dark has seen – never mind the horrible Uwe Boll film – is truly something to behold. Nevertheless, the upcoming re-imagination from Pieces Interactive looks promising. In development since 2019, it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, and features the return of Edward Carnby. After being contacted by Emily Hartwood to find her missing uncle, the two explore Derceto Manor and discover terrifying realms and creatures. Promising a return to the roots of psychological horror with minimal ammo, Alone in the Dark could herald a revival for the series.
