After multiple years of delays and two developers – with Dambuster Studios of Homefront: The Revolution now in charge – Dead Island 2 finally looks to release on April 28th. Set in California, which suffered a zombie outbreak and strict quarantine, you control six playable Slayers with enhanced abilities, thanks to the virus. The mission? Escape while bashing, slashing and annihilating hordes of zombies. If a procedural gore system and lots of violence sound good, Dead Island 2 may be worth checking out when it launches for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
