Layers of Fears

Layers of Fears purports to build on the foundations of its predecessors with a new story, while using Unreal Engine 5 for ray tracing, HDR and 4K resolution visuals. It promises to be the definitive way to “discover the stories of artists enslaved by their obsessions.” Whatever that may mean, it’s once again a first-person psychological horror title, and the Painter’s spouse from the first game seems to play a role. Layers of Fears launches in early 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
