Sonic Frontiers
After numerous leaks and rumors, the blue blur’s next big adventure is finally confirmed with Sonic Frontiers. Venturing to Starfall Islands with its mix of deserts, ruins, and forests, the 3D platformer offers open world – or rather, open-zone – gameplay with various mysteries to discover. Not much else is known, except that lead writer Ian Flynn of IDW’s Sonic the Hedgehog series is penning the narrative, but there’s definitely potential. Out in holiday 2022, Sonic Frontiers is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
