In case you didn’t know already, Total War: Rome 2, developed by Creative Assembly as the latest in its line of highly successful history warfare-based strategy games, is pretty popular. There’s no doubt that it’ll receive a solid reaction on release by Lead Unit Designer Jack Lusted is looking for more than that. In this new vidcast, he talks about the Battle of Carthage, and also looks at some of the questions from the Total War forums.
Lusted also talks about Total War: Rome 2 presenting a different in the way you capture cities, with multiple capture points needing to be seized for victory. Combat also been re-balanced to take care of any nagging issues from the previous game. Couple that with an improved diplomacy system and new AI, and one begins to scratch the surface of what the sequel is looking to prove.
Total War: Rome 2 will be published by Sega in October 2013 for PC.
