Tom Clancy's The Division

Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft Massive’s upcoming third person shooter/MMO, continues to receive new information. Interestingly, a few videos leaked over the weekend showcasing the game running at low graphical settings on PC. The videos have since been removed but NeoGAF has compiled a list of the different graphical options PC players can expect.

These options include V-Sync, the ability to limit the frame rate (and perhaps to unlock it beyond 60 FPS), shadow quality, shadow resolution, contact shadows, spot shadow count, spot shadow resolution and much more. You can also customize local reflection quality, volumetric fog, object detail, depth of field, chromatic aberration, sub-surface scattering, sharpen image, temporal AA and post FXAA.

It certainly feeds into the notion that the PC version on medium settings already looks much better than the Xbox One version. Then again, if Ubisoft is capable of exploiting today’s PC hardware, it’s a given that the PC version will look superior. But we’ll wait for the final game before drawing too many conclusions.

The Division‘s beta will be out on January 28th for Xbox One (January 29th for PS4 and PC) while the full game is out on March 8th.
