Microsoft and Rare’s Sea of Thieves is almost here- although it feels like I’ve been saying that for two years now, so what do I know, really- and as we near its eventual launch, Rare and Microsoft are sharing new videos that are showing us increasingly more granular (like, absurdly so) things from the game.

Take this new video, for instance- this one shows us how the AI governing the skeletons in the game, showing us how they are governed by a sense of curiosity and environmental awareness that makes them more spontaneous and emergent threats than enemies in game (and especially skeletons, who are usually low level fodder) typically are.

You can check out the video for yourself below. Sea of Thieves is due out this Spring on Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10; the game will also be getting an open beta later this month, so sign up for that if you want to take it out for a ride yourself.
