With Sony and Nintendo skipping this year’s Gamescom (Xbox is still rumored), Ubisoft has confirmed its presence. It simply tweeted to “stay tuned for more news.” Gamescom 2022 is currently slated for August 24th to 28th with the physical event returning.

Rumors have been circulating about the company’s games for a while now. Insider Tom Henderson previously reported on about 20 announcements, from Assassin’s Creed Rift and The Crew 3 to an Immortals Fenyx Rising sequel and a new 2.5D Prince of Persia. There’s also Skull and Bones, which could be re-revealed in July itself but still have a presence at the show.

The company promised some news on the future of Assassin’s Creed in September, so that may be separate from whatever it has planned for Gamescom. Whether the company will make announcements throughout the trade fair’s duration or at Gamescom Opening Night Live (assuming it returns) remains to be seen. Regardless, stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
