Anno 1800 is the seventh instalment in Ubisoft’s city building simulation franchise. After the previous two games were based in futuristic settings, Anno 1800 will bring the franchise back to a historic backdrop, being set at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution.
The game will feature a single player story, a multiplayer component, as well as a sandbox mode, and will also be combining its combat and city building sessions during gameplay.
