While director Hideo Kojima will grace the Summer Game Fest Showcase on June 6th, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will receive its own Game Premiere event on June 8th at 7 PM PT. The live event is hosted by Geoff Keighley from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

On top of celebrating the upcoming launch, there will be a panel featuring Kojima and various “special guests” to discuss the sequel. A live demonstration is also planned, which means new gameplay for those in attendance and at home.

Kojima Productions may also opt to debut the final trailer, which will feature “lots” of new details (at the cost of revealing anything more about the story). Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is available on June 26th for PS5. It features numerous improvements over the original and could be over 70 hours long for the main story. There aren’t any plans for post-launch DLC currently, though Kojima promised bug fixes and maybe creating something that “didn’t exist at all in the first game.”
