The official Twitter account for Xbox’s PC Game Pass has seemingly been teasing Death Stranding’s arrival on the service. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long for an announcement. According to insider Tom Henderson, Kojima Productions’ action-adventure title is indeed coming to PC Game Pass.
The official announcement is reportedly coming today, so keep your eyes peeled (though it’s unknown whether this is the base game or the Director’s Cut). How exactly could the developer release the game on Game Pass, especially when it’s an exclusive title for Sony’s PlayStation consoles? The answer lies in the PC version. 505 Games is responsible for publishing the PC version on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Stay tuned for more details on its PC Game Pass release in the coming hours, if it’s indeed happening. For more details on Death Stranding, check out our review of the Director’s Cut here.
Kojima Productions is also reportedly working on a new horror title, Overdose, starring Death Stranding’s Margaret Qualley. Director Hideo Kojima teased working on a new trailer recently so there may be an announcement in the coming days (possibly at Gamescom Opening Night Live).
