Lightfall, the next expansion for Bungie’s Destiny 2, is still a few weeks away. Nevertheless, the developer has regularly discussed new content, like Exotics and the Strand subclasses, and features like Vanguard Focusing and Ada-1 selling shaders. The latest “This Week at Bungie” confirmed that servers would go offline on February 27th for maintenance.

Maintenance will start at 9 AM PST and last for 24 hours. Lightfall owners can pre-load the expansion during this time, and it’s large. However, the disc space decreases afterwards, and load times should improve after installation. But wait, there’s more. Players can expect queues for signing in during the initial hours and at peak times.

It’s a common occurrence even since the later years of Destiny 1, due to a large influx of players, so be prepared. Destiny 2: Lightfall is out on February 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Head here for details on what to expect.
