Since Square Enix is publishing Techland’s Dying Light 2, it only made sense to expect a longer demonstration at today’s presser. Surely there was more to see after the story trailer that debuted Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 presser? Not quite. Instead, we got another short trailer. Check it out below, courtesy of IGN.

Thankfully, this trailer does have some gameplay. It starts in a dark building with mannequins and Infected before our hero books it through a window. The ability to dive through a window as opposed to clambering seems new, but much of the other mechanics like wall-riding, sliding, and so on should be familiar.

Dying Light 2 takes place in a post-apocalyptic city with a new protagonist named Aiden. The city is falling apart thanks to the various factions vying for control, but Aiden is determined to keep things together. This is despite him being infected himself (and yet still in control of his mind). Dying Light 2 will release in Spring 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
