Dying Light 2 Stay Human – New Gameplay Trailer Debuts August 26th

Gamescom Opening Night Live is set for August 24th but there will be plenty of other news coming out of the expo. For instance, Techland has confirmed a Gamescom Edition of Dying 2 Know hosted by lead game designer Tymon Smektala. It will take place on August 26th at 11 AM PT and provide new details on combat and parkour in Dying Light 2 Stay Human along with a new gameplay trailer.

Set more than 20 years after the first game, the protagonist this time around is Aiden Caldwell. Possessing superhuman abilities but also contending with the Harran virus, Aiden ventures to The City to learn more about his past and locate a loved one. Across the seven distinct regions are numerous factions, each with their own motives and goals for survival.

Depending on who Aiden allies with, The City’s appearance and overall structure will change accordingly. Of course, the Infected still play a big role and along with new types to contend with, players can also venture through Infected Nests to retrieve GRE biomarkers. Dying Light 2 Stay Human releases on December 7th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
