A new patch is available for Luminous Productions’ Forspoken on PC, providing “adjustments” to the game’s HDR. It also features fixes for localization and spelling, along with various “minor” fixes. The good news is that Steam Deck users should see improved performance and stability while certain “technical issues” on the platform have been fixed.

Released on January 24th for PS5 and PC, Forspoken is the latest action RPG from Square Enix. It’s about Frey Holland, who accidentally stumbles into the fantasy realm of Athia and must fight against the repressive Tantas. The critical response to the title is mixed (check out our review here), and it failed to break into the top ten for Steam’s Weekly Global Top Sellers in its launch week.

Nevertheless, it debuted in fourth place in the physical sales charts for the UK. It’s slated to receive prequel DLC, In Tanta We Trust, this Summer. Check out the first gameplay clip for it here. Head here for our guide on Forspoken’s PC errors with potential fixes and workarounds.
