Lack of rollback netcode aside, the response to Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Versus since launch has been exceptional. The publisher reported on Twitter that digital sales and shipments have passed 200,000 units in Japan. It last reported 150,000 in digital sales and shipments for Japan and Asia back in February.

Since then, the Arc System Works-developer fighter has released in North America for PS4 and even arrived for PC players worldwide. The PS4 version will release for Europe and Australia today. Interestingly enough, Cygames has yet to reveal how sales have been in the West.

More content is set to arrive in the coming weeks. After DLC characters Beelzebub and Narmaya released earlier this month, Soriz has been announced to release on April 7th. A trailer for Djeeta, the default player character next to Gran, will be released on March 31st. The final DLC character, Zooey, has yet to be dated so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
