Following major shakeups at 343 Industries, especially after Joseph Staten departed from the studio, Halo Infinite’s next season seems to be on track for release. The Season 3: Echoes Within trailer premieres on February 24th at 10:30 AM PST during the Halo Championship Series’ Charlotte 2023 Kickoff Major.

In terms of new content, the season will include new maps for modes like Arena and Big Team Battle, the new Shroud Screen equipment item, and the M392 Bandit, the first new weapon. A 100 Tier Battle Pass is also coming in addition to the Custom Game Browser and a new Fracture Event.

If that weren’t enough, in-game reporting and new multiplayer modes like VIP and Escalation are also being added. Even more could be in store, especially with the team working to bring campaign AI into Forge, potentially allowing players to create custom PvE modes. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
