Microsoft’s counter program to Sony’s State of Play promises a lot of content.
Sony is having their next State of Play tomorrow with big promises. Apparently, The Last of Us Part 2 will be shown there, possibly finally giving us a release date, and it’s one they’ve described as a “hefty show.” Seems Microsoft wants to counter program a little here as they’ve announced that on the same day we’ll see the return of Inside Xbox with similar promises of a big show.
Microsoft announced the return of their show via their official Twitter which you can see below. It will air at 6pm ET/3pm PT via official YouTube and Mixer channels and include news on Game Pass, xCloud as well as information about the upcoming X019 event in November. Several games are mentioned as being part of the show, such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint, but they specify that a preview will be held for The Outer Worlds.
Between this and Sony’s State of Play, it seems we’ll have a lot to cover tomorrow from the two events. We only need Nintendo to drop a surprise Direct, and we’ll have the hat trick. We’ll keep you updated.
#InsideXbox is back with a 💥 BOOM 💥 this month!
