Silent Hill Has “At Least” 3 More Unannounced Projects in Development – Rumor

These are separate from Silent Hill: The Short Message, though one is reportedly in "very early development," as per leaker AestheticGamer.

Following Silent Hill: The Short Message’s rating in Taiwan for PS5, insider AestheticGamer, aka Dusk Golem, revealed that three more unannounced Silent Hill projects are in development.

Replying in a thread on ResetEra, they revealed that said projects are separate from The Short Message. “There’s at least three Silent Hill projects which haven’t been announced yet, not including The Short Message. Yes, really. But one of them is in very early development.”

Thus far, Konami has announced a remake of Silent Hill 2 developed by Bloober Team, which is nearing the end of development. Silent Hill f, new mainline title by NeoBards Entertainment and Higurashi When They Cry author Ryukishi07, is also in the works. Annapurna Interactive and No Code are also working on Silent Hill: Townfall, rumored to be the first title in an anthology.

The news of other Silent Hill titles isn’t too surprising, though. Konami stated last October that the franchise would continue to receive new games from other developers. It also ramped up recruitment for various internal projects, including Silent Hill. Stay tuned for potential announcements in the future.
