Street Fighter 6

Capcom’s most recent countdown has concluded and as the rumors indicated, it announced that Street Fighter 6 was in development. The teaser trailer below features Ryu, a series’ mainstay, along with Luke, who was recently added in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition with its Season 5 Character Pass. Check it out below.

The trailer’s footage represents “a game still in development” so make of it what you will. More details will be coming this Summer though so stay tuned. Rumors over the past few years have indicated the sequel to be in development. It was originally meant to release in 2021 but development troubles (which led to the departure of series producer Yoshinori Ono) resulted in a delay.

No release window or platforms have been announced. However, rumors peg the game as being development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC (as opposed to Street Fighter 5 which was exclusive to PS4 and PC). Stay tuned for more details this Summer.
