Summer Game Fest 2025

Summer Game Fest returns later today with plenty of announcements and news on upcoming titles. The official Twitter has confirmed that the live show will run for two hours, similar to last year.

Thus far, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach director Hideo Kojima is confirmed to appear on stage, potentially to reveal the sequel’s final trailer. Other titles appearing include Dying Light: The Beast, Splitgate 2, and Atomic Heart, though rumors are rife with plenty more. It’s alleged that Capcom will finally reveal Resident Evil 9, the next mainline entry in the franchise.

Lies of P: Overture could also receive a shadow drop after its new trailer leaked. Meanwhile, Crimson Desert is potentially due for a release date announcement and pre-orders going live following a retailer leak. With over 60 partners, that’s only the tip of the iceberg for potential announcements.

The Summer Game Fest showcase begins at 2 PM PDT. Stay tuned for more details and live coverage.
