Fatshark's upcoming first person action title is continuing to look like an impressive step forward for the Vermintide formula.
Developer Fatshark will have "something brutally epic in store" for its upcoming first person action game in a couple of days.
Personalities include "hard bitten professional soldiers, devout crusaders, snarky outsiders and more" with "thousands upon thousands" of banter lines.
Releasing on September 13th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, the co-op shooter has the Imperium fighting Chaos forces in the Hive City of Tertium.
Playable characters can also be customized though there's an extensive dialogue system with over 75,000 lines for interactions.
New trailer showcases the Imperium's elite squad sitting around. The co-op title will also be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Fatshark's Martin Wahlund says the extra time will be used to focus on quality along with investing in systems to support the title post-launch.
Abnett is known for his work on Warhammer 40,000 novels like Gaunt's Ghosts and Eisenhorn along with writing comics for DC, Marvel and more.
Fatshark's co-op sci-fi shooter will make an appearance as part of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase. It will broadcast at 10 AM PST.

"We have worked with Microsoft for many years, and they are a great partner," says the developer.
Warhammer 40K: Darktide developer is impressed with several aspects of the Xbox Series X.
"Many developers nowadays are used to a much more dynamic ecosystem of hardware," the developer says.

The 4 player co-op title is due out in 2021.
The four player co-op experience comes from Fatshark of Warhammer: Vermintide fame.
An in-game store for cosmetics and Quick Play Weaves are also live.
