Later today, Sony will be broadcasting another State of Play presentation, and there’s one game that’s going to be the centre of attention. Naughty Dog confirmed not too long ago that The Last of Us Part 2 will be shown off during the presentation, and they’ve been dropping some teases to generate hype since then.
They recently took to Twitter again to drop yet another tease. The clip in question shows Joel’s broken watch, which was given to him by his daughter before the Cordyceps outbreak. It’s accompanied with the words, “You really gonna go through with this?” which is what Joel said to Ellie in the reveal trailer for the game. In fact, it’s the only times we’ve seen or heard from Joel in trailers for The Last of Us Part 2. Will today’s reveal throw the spotlight on him? Here’s hoping.
The State of Play broadcast will go live at 1 PM PT, and will be roughly 20 minutes long. Hopefully we’ll get a release date announcement for Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated action adventure title. Either way, we’ll keep you updated on all news that comes our way, so stay tuned.
