Naughty Dog continues to tease fans en route to the State of Play reveal.

the last of us part 2

Naughty Dog will be showcasing The Last of Us: Part 2 at tomorrow’s State of Play. A new trailer is expected but we’re not sure what to expect. Perhaps the various teases on Twitter by the developer could provide a clue. The latest one showcases Dina’s bracelet with the caption, “They should be terrified of you.”

As a refresher, Dina was the girl dancing with Ellie in the E3 2018 trailer (the same line was also stated there). Other Twitter users pointed out that her bracelet – which can serve as a good luck charm – was on Ellie’s wrist as she murdered various foes. Could the tweet be hinting at Dina’s fate, which might be grim? Is Ellie on a quest to avenge her?

It would make sense especially considering the theme of The Last of Us: Part 2 is “hate” as opposed to “love”. Along with the State of Play reveal tomorrow, there will also be a media event with three hours of hands-on gameplay for attending publications. The game is also rumoured to release on February 28th, 2020 for PS4. Stay tuned for more details.
