The Medium

With the release of The Medium coming up, Bloober Team has been releasing several new details on the gameplay and PC system requirements. Its latest trailer discusses nine uncanny facts about the psychological horror game, revealing an interesting connection to the developer’s previous game, Observer. Check it out below.

Along with visiting the abandoned hotel resort in Krakow, Poland, players will also see Marianne’s apartment. Interestingly, this same apartment is in the futuristic Observer. Given the decades-long gap between both games’ settings, this probably won’t have a huge impact on the story. But it’s cool to see the developer’s titles interlinked like this.

Other interesting facts include how The Medium was announced way back in the day for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U with a different art-style and protagonist. The Dual Reality mechanic has carried over though and we’ll get to experience it for ourselves when The Medium launches on January 28th. It’ll be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC along with Xbox Game Pass.
