State of Decay 2
To get really hyped about Undead Labs’ State of Decay 2, it’s important to understand what makes it so cool. Take an open world full of survivors, side missions, interesting locations and foraging mechanics. Combine it with a base management system where morale and resource management actually play a part. Now throw in some satisfying combat and vehicles. That was the original in a nut-shell and while it may not be for everyone, the thought of State of Decay 2 building on it with 4 player co-op, three huge maps, the ability to shift entire bases and more is incredibly tantalizing.
