What began as a regular walk into the Federal Bureau of Control for Jesse Faden became something much more…strange. Control is a paradox, defining what Remedy does best with its surreal story-telling and visual design while redefining what we know about its gameplay approach. This isn’t just a third-person shooter with psychokinetic powers – it’s also a robust Metroidvania loaded with secrets and side objectives. In control or out of it, this ranks as one of Remedy’s very best.
