Wrapping up a years-long saga with multitudes of twists and turns isn’t easy but Guilty Gear Strive pulls it off. The final battle sees Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and Axl Low fighting against I-No, who’s fused with Happy Chaos and the Tome of Origin to gain ultimate power. I-No is eventually defeated and Sol is marked as dead…but actually lives on as Frederick Bulsara with Jack-O’ by his side and the Flame of Corruption having been removed by Asuka (who now lives on the Moon). Of course, there are still some loose threads as Happy Chaos is shown to be alive in the post-credits but for now, things seem to have reached a peaceful conclusion.
