Though it takes longer to get going compared to its predecessor, Lost Judgment provides a twisting narrative that would be right at home with the Yakuza series. Protagonist Yagami goes from investigating Seiryo High School to a conspiracy involving the new RK syndicate, the Public Security Division and the Vice Health Minister. The ending essentially sees the RK’s head Kazuki Soma and the Public Security Division’s head Hidemi Bando being arrested; the Vice Health Minister and mother of one of the bullying victims turning herself in; and Kuwana, a key player, going missing. All’s well that somewhat ends well though, especially since Yagami has played a small part in ensuring that some students don’t get bullied.
