Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Spirit guide Kena arrives at an abandoned village and goes about helping its Spirits to move on (with the Rot assisting her). However, the core story surrounds the corruption in the land, caused by a mysterious masked spirit, and the events that led to the Mountain Shrine and village being destroyed. Eventually, the masked spirit is revealed to be the former village leader Toshi.
This led to the creation of the smaller Rots, the village’s destruction and the ongoing corruption. After initially losing the Rot, Kena defeats the corrupted monster on the mountain and helps Toshi move on to the afterlife.
