Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade
It would have been enough if Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s Episode INTERmission added some new bits to the new overarching plot with Yuffie departing Midgar, eventually meeting with Cloud and his party before taking down Shinra. However, Square Enix actually added several new scenes to the base game’s ending with Intergrade. After defeating the Whispers of Fate and seemingly altering events of the past, Cloud and friends are seen hitchhiking to Kalm.
Meanwhile, as hinted prior, Zack is alive and well, searching for Aerith in Sector 5 and finding the victims of the plate’s fall. The implications for the future are immense – could Zack potentially join the party and prevent Aerith’s death? How will this affect Cloud’s mental image of himself? Time will tell but it’s already looking to be quite intriguing.
