The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Following the less than stellar sales of The Wind Waker, Nintendo went back to the drawing board. This time, a more realistic style and a Lord of the Rings-inspired aesthetic were envisioned. Character models like Link and Zelda looked more mature and expressive while appearing sharper and more detailed. The improved lighting and environmental textures also fit perfectly with the more serious atmosphere. Even the particle effects, bloom and draw distances were very good, bringing this dark fantasy version of Hyrule to life.
