10. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (2015)
Kojima Productions, with director Hideo Kojima at the helm, always had a penchant for cinematography and presentation. However, the new FOX Engine took things to the next level. Even with an open world approach, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain excelled in materials-based lighting, skin shading, animation quality and draw distance. Perhaps most impressive is how the game ran at 60 frames per second across generations, despite current gen consoles and PC offering the most definitive versions.
