Counterplay Games is known for its gorgeous art design in Duelyst. With Godfall, it’s taking the aesthetic into a fully 3D hack and slash action RPG. Just from the in-engine footage so far, we’re looking at top-notch global illumination, gorgeous material quality and rendering and lots of particles. Only a bit of actual gameplay has been seen but if it’s anywhere near the in-engine demo, then Godfall could be a strong console exclusive for PS5 at launch.
