Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Though it suffered a slight delay to April 10th, Final Fantasy 7 Remake’s gorgeous fidelity is a highlight among many releases this year. The pre-rendered backgrounds are gone, everyone has a more realistic design and the sheer mix of image quality, lighting and anti-aliasing brings the game to life like never before (yes, even compared to Advent Children). Perhaps most incredible is that Square Enix retained the signature mood and atmosphere of the original without any compromises.
