Guilty Gear Strive - Millia

It’s been a busy weekend for Arc System Works, with all the news surrounding Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball FighterZ. The former not only received a new roadmap for future DLC characters, cross-platform play (with a beta in mid-September) and other fixes but a new character in Bridget. In the midst of all this, the developer confirmed that Strive had crossed one million units shipped worldwide.

Released last year in June, Guilty Gear Strive passed 300,000 in digital sales and worldwide shipments in less than a week. It’s since received several updates, from new DLC characters and story DLC in Season Pass 1 to a free Combo Maker Mode for experimenting with one’s combos.

Season Pass 2 offers three more characters in addition to Bridget. The next is slated to arrive in Fall along with the crossplay update while two more are out in 2023 (along with two additional stages). Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.

Guilty Gear Strive is out on PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out a new music video celebrating the game’s first anniversary below and also detailing Sol Badguy’s journey through the series.
