The wait for (official) Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay ends in just a few hours, with the Extended Look premiering at 3 PM ET on Netflix. Many have speculated about how much Rockstar will reveal, and according to the streaming service, it’s quite a lot at 27 minutes (as reported by IGN).
It’s also being showcased on PlayStation 5, so this can be considered a two-in-one debut. Such an arrangement is unsurprising, especially when Sony Interactive Entertainment touted its “close partnership” with Rockstar Games when pre-orders opened. Perhaps we’ll get a closer look at DualSense support and how the haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and integrated speaker come into play.
Maybe the “near-instant load times” will be on display as well, though we’re hoping that the development team finally provides more details on PS5 Pro support. How stable will those frame rates really be? Is 60 frames per second possible? We won’t have to wait long to find out.
Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19th for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. And while Rockstar has been tight-lipped about what it’s revealing in the Extensive Look, Dazed magazine revealed several new details, including the return of weight gain and exercise systems. It also noted that the development team has more than doubled since Red Dead Redemption 2, which is a scary thing to consider.
