The Metroidvania title will require some more time it's ready.
"The Microsoft policy of being backwards compatible all the way to the first generation is the best," says Thomas Happ.

"If I released 5 platforms simultaneously I would need to delay the release date and maybe not give each platform the devotion I'd like," says Thomas Happ.

Creator Thomas Happ can't talk about the sequel's release on other platforms though.

The critically acclaimed Metroidvania title will be free until February 21st.
Slated for release later this year.
