The Outer Worlds 2 is a first person shooter RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Microsoft.
It was announced at Xbox’s E3 2021 showcase.

According to the LinkedIn profile of an Obsidian employee, The Outer Worlds 2 has been in development for a couple of years.
A job ad suggests that Obsidian Entertainment is shifting its pipelines to Unreal Engine 5, possibly for The Outer Worlds 2.
There's no gameplay and nothing showcased may actually be in the full game. But it's coming and will launch day one on Game Pass.
Obsidian Entertainment might be primed to have an eventful E3 this year, according to a recently published report.
