Persona 5 Strikers
At first, it would seem that Persona 5 Strikers’ main plot isn’t as long as its predecessor (which is a tough task anyway given the 100 plus hour length of the latter). But it still does a pretty good job with the Phantom Thieves traveling to different Jails to change people’s hearts, all while learning more about the app EMMA. Eventually, it’s revealed that Sophia is a prototype of EMMA, created by Kuon Ichinose.
Defying Ichinose’s orders, Sophia awakens her Persona and Ichinose is subdued. However, the app is still out of control and becomes the Demiurge with the goal of removing all of humanity’s Desires. The Phantom Thieves eventually defeat the AI with the Jails disappearing and Ichinose traveling with Sophia. Of course, it’s implied that this isn’t the last we’ll see of the group.
